July Caption Contest: The Winner Is...While democracy prevailed for first-place in the July cartoon caption contest, the second and third-place finishers were totally random. After a month respite as the overall winner of a Telco Transformation cartoon contest, Joe Stanganelli garnered the most votes to take first-place in July's contest. Joe's winning entry: "I don't care if she does have a touchscreen, Paul. You keep your hands to yourself." — Joe Stanganelli, $100 Amazon Gift Card.
Per Joe's suggestion via email, I went with Random.org to break the five-way tie for second and to come up with the third-place finisher. Second-place: "...and they just got a Landroid to do the lawn." — jbtombes, $75 Amazon Gift Card. Third-place: "Do you think anyone actually lives there or are we seeing a video loop?" — Michelle, $50 Amazon Gift card. Thanks for last month's entries and for the votes in the comments section.
