Virtualization: Budgeting for a Bottom LineCommunications service providers (CSPs) have some key areas to consider when it comes to the virtualization of their networks, including planning, deployment and monetization. Recently -- as part of Light Reading's Virtuapedia initiative -- Heavy Reading surveyed CSPs, including wireline, mobile and cable providers, in regards to their virtualization processes and the progress they are making in moving to transform their networks. This report, "The Future of Virtualization Indexes," tracks communications service provider (CSP) progress in deploying virtualization. To put that progress into pictures, the first in our series of original infographics looked at the planning stage while the second examined the deployment stage. This third and final installment focuses on spending and budget concerns.
