ECN: What's Hot for Cloud SkillsThe good news for cloud employees is that the core fundamentals across the various cloud platforms are similar, but service providers and other companies that are using cloud technologies are now seeking employees who also have a keen sense of the business use cases, according to a recent report by the editors of Enterprise Cloud News. Prior to the rather recent explosion of cloud services, service providers, businesses and organizations were looking for employees with solid IT skills, but now they want IT professionals and security experts who can think like the end customers, according to the report. (See Hottest Cloud Skills for 2017: Exclusive Special Report.) For the report, ECN surveyed Light Reading and ECN readers last month, which resulted in 67 readers turning in responses. Here's a look at the top enterprise cloud skills that were identified in the report's survey.
