mpouraryan, you are right it is all discovery.  But if anyone can figure it out and make it work, I am betting you can!

Re: Future: Tense
I think everyone (all humans!) can agree that living people should have a say in how our society functions -- even if we accept some advice/help from artificial intelligence...

Re: Future: Tense
We are witnessing another AI milestone as an algorithm that can beat an expert Go player now exists:

https://googleblog.blogspot.com/2016/01/alphago-machine-learning-game-go.html

Go has been the game to beat for many decades now... and it's just about to be at the level where it will reliably beat over 99% of humans.

Re: Future: Tense
mpouraryan, I'm with you!  I highly recommend Udacity.  I took two courses when they started (including one with Sebastian Thun) and they are excellent!  Keep us informed and share your intelligence.

Re: Future: Tense
It is dizzying ever more.   I don't mind noting frankly scary.  I am hoping (if I can figure out how to make it work) to sign up for the Deep Learning Course Google has on Udacity.

Re: Future: Tense
mpouraryan, indeed!  Take good notes - these are truly fundamental changes coming at us from multiple directions.  That's why I believe we need human intelligence to ensure we put them in the right order and fully take advantage of the new opportunities being created daily.

Re: Future: Tense
mpouraryan, agreed.  The human intelligence (see my other post) definitely needs to take into account the artificial intelligence but needs to have the ultimate authority to direct, change, etc.  I don't know that computers can always configure the moral/human impact, which is the reality of transactions and decisions.
