On the Prowl w/brief Thoughts....
Bandwidth is a challenge--I note this because I just wanted to upgrade my own service and the response I got was: your area is not ready.    I note this to underscore the fact that they're not moving fast enough.

They are Trying to Hold On to the Past
I am in the group that thinks that they are not, and will not, move fast enough.  I think that they have spent way to long trying to hold on to their old business model and people got sick of it and found a way around it.  There are too many options available already at prices more reasonable than the big companies are willing to provide.

Re: They are Trying to Hold On to the Past
@afwriter, I agree. They are not willing to spend the money or don't have the spend; or they do not see the benefit of video advertising and other video related revenue. I have evolved individually. I used to listen to music when exercising from my iPod, then I moved to Spotify, now I just listen to music or watch music videos on Youtube. Customers are changing and companies must adapt to remain competitive and to remain customers especially millennials customers who love technology, gadgets and want to get information quickly. Company could use Cloud options but would require major upgrades to their network telco systems.

Re: They are Trying to Hold On to the Past
Good points and I agree.

I think they moved too slow and there might not be enough time to completely recover. Telcos are trying to incorporate videos now, but it might just be too little too late. They had to move fast and they didn't.

I think it was their old way of thinking and being stubborn to the point where they didn't think they needed video. Well video is huge and only getting bigger. Hopefully it's not too late for Telco, but in my opinion it seems like it is.
