Fullscreen
Yeah, I'd be really curious to know what the content is going to be on this service. Especially with that price tag. If the content will largely rival Netflix, they are going to have a problem on their hands. Since a basic Netflix package is 8.99 a month. I'd jump ship if the content is nearly the same. Similar to the way a lot of Netflix and Amazon content has overlap. But if the content is going to be like random 90s television no one has ever heard of except the kids watching Saturday morning cartoons in the 90s, I can't see Netflix worrying about the competition. Though realistically, it only makes sense that we will start seeing more and more competition.

Re: Fullscreen
Yes I agree.

I think that if this srvice has only Netflix-like content then I wouldn't spend the money on that when I only pay $8.99 a month for my Netflix account now. However, if they have special content that hasn't been around, it might be cool to check it out.

Re: Fullscreen
I don't think there will be a stampede to use Fullscreen's SVOD service. I don't see any additional benefits of customers switching to their service. The press release said "....will be anchored by a robust programming slate featuring a diverse library comprised of feature films, scripted and unscripted acquisitions and originals, as well as exclusive content from today's top creators and social influencers."

I think the first thing they need to do is hire a millennial in the marketing department.

Re: Fullscreen
The original content descriptions in the press release Mike posted in his comment don't seem quite at the same caliber as Hulu, Netflix or Amazon. (But it *does* have "Dawson's Creek" and "Saved by the Bell" going for it!)

Re: Fullscreen
The downside is the limited devices it's available on. Granted, I'm not in their target market, but I prefer a service I can use on my Apple TV or roku or as one of my smart tv's options.

I think thay have have lot of options and they chosed to make the full screen for SVOD so that you can see things on a wider screen so you can seel the full visual.
