Re: Netflix at the top
@Mike, oh my! How fun!! I would say so; they can benefit from some definite upgrades.
Re: Amazon Prime
@Mike: Funnily enough, I know people who are tAmazon Prime customers who are the opposite -- primarily/mainly using it for the video while viewing the shipping/discounts as a nice-to-have bonus.
Different strokes for different folks. :)
Re: Amazon Prime
Amazon Prime is a godsend where we live in rural Colorado. But I don't see us ever needing the video service if for some reason we no longer used Amazon Prime.
Re: Netflix at the top
And we need better user interfaces. It's painful to sit there while our son types in one letter at a time while doing searches.
Amazon Prime
Wil be interseting to see how Amazon video fares now that they're unbunding it from Prime delivery? Will people be as interested in video when they're not required to get it in order to get free delivery on products?

Re: Netflix at the top
@Mike - "its going to come down to which company has the best content with the best price" - I think that is the key! I believe Netflix is ahead because they have done that to this point and people look to them first - if they can deliver, they get the business. If they stay competitive they will remain in the lead.

@Kelsey Ziser best option would be to check with netflix customer service directly :)
Re: Netflix at the top
I'm curious to know if subscribership to Netflix's dvd services has changed at all...I'm thinking about cancelling the DVD's and just using the streaming services.

@Mike Robuck Netflix actively trying to gain more ground in North America...
Re: Netflix at the top
The price increase here in the US starts this month. Netflix is trying to gain inroads overseas, but it's meeting resistance in a few countries. People are comfortable using Netflix, but at some point its going to come down to which company has the best content with the best price.
