Re: TDC and BlockBuster
@srufolo1 with this deal is not everything as it seems... as BlockBuster keep bleeding money, plus hidden loans to keep it aflot... few years ago I did chat with BlockBuster local distric manager and over few years everything was going down... even paychecks got delayed month to months as BlockBuster was short of cash... and have to borrow heavy to keep it going...

TDC and BlockBuster
It's interesting how TDC wanted to make a deal with BlockBuster, which went bankrupt (for obvious reasons). Even so, the company still managed to be successful in this video rental business model. Of course, a woman is head of the business.
So at least once, OTT is an antidote to churn
The plural of anecdote is not data -- until the anecdotes become numerous and detailed enough to be shaved down into data -- but this would look very much like the "anecdote about the antidote," and the first datum hitting the bucket. It looks as if, if OTT is used to broaden consumer choice enough, it at least significantly slows churn. At least in Denmark, and right now.
