I subscribed to Game Pass last year to watch my favorite NFL team, which is out of market in my area. One downside: I don't have regular cable, so I could not watch the in-market team on Game Pass, as the service blocks that. But overall, it's a good package and I am thinking about getting it again this season.

But how many use the services they already have?
Meanwhile, how many households have sports packages as part of their broadband cable packages that they don't even watch?

And how many even know it???  Sometimes you have to carefully examine your bill -- or wantonly flip channels -- to discover, "Oh, I get that channel."

I'm curious how many of these OTT services are redundant.

None of these is higher than 6%. Pretty low penetration. Big question for OTT and sports is when ESPN would cross that line. And how much they'd charge. MoffetNathanson pegged price at $36/month earlier this year.
