Re: Foundation of our Society
<A report by Transparency Market Research said that while the global OSS/BSS revenues were valued at $21.8 billion in 2013 they would hit $49.8 billion by the end of 2020.> Do such estimates presume that we're sticking to 2013 dollars in terms of valuation? I mean do expect that the number can be even higher if we see inflation increase by the year 2020?

Foundation of our Society
It really isn't surprising at all that OSS/BSS will see a revenue increase. Anymore, wireless communication systems seem to be the very foundation of our current society. When I thought I lost my cell phone about six months ago, I was in a near panic. Almost all of my information is contained or fairly easily accessed through my cell phone. Not only that, I rely on my phone to help me navigate the city (I haven't lived in Denver long enough to know all the ins and outs the way I do Phoenix.) I rely on my phone in cases of an emergency (I locked my keys and my SON in my car once, and he was too small and strapped into a car seat to do anything about it.) My cell phone allowed me to call the fire department and get him out in under 5 minutes. I rely on my phone to keep my kids entertained when we are walking through the grocery store. And I am far from the only one whose cell phone offer a life connection. But customer service is what can cost or keep a customer base, no matter how much we rely on cell phones. (That's why I left TMobile.) And in today's market, where new cell phone companies seem to pop up on the horizon every day, companies need to ensure they are keeping their customers and gaining new ones. Either way, the business as a whole is surely going nowhere but up.
