How about it's not easy to know "where" to invest to maximize profits... Deploying next generation technology is always slowed down by trying to figure out what standards should come next...

Transformation
Digital transformation requires a clear vision and plan, buy-in from senior management and employees, employees with the required skill set, effective project management and the right tools and resources to implement the plan.

It is better to plan to fail than fail to plan.

dlr5288, I agree. Nothing stays the same. Industry leaders will have to constantly grow and change to remain leaders. Other companies will have to keep up to remain competitive.

I couldn't agree more! Things are changing faster and faster each day so who knows what the next year will bring! Especially when dealin with technology things don't stay the same for too long.

I picked the option for 'lack of clear transformation path'. Telecom is an ever-changing system these days. I think innovation and transformation will be tough for many providers without a clear vision.
