Opeators Have NFV Plans
"94% of the operators in its survey had NFV strategy plans in place." This is great news.

"To address those security concerns, the OPNFV Project formed a security working group last year."

Glad to know that they are making security a top priority. All companies should do the same.

"The biggest hurdles cited were "lack of skill set" and "lack of upper management support." Despite those barriers, 47% recognized NFV as a priority for their company."

This is a hurdle in several companies, management may support an initiative but employees may not. Or, management may not want to spend the money to hire a specialized skill set.

Implementing NFV requires several components to be successful.

Security
"Overall, security was cited as the top priority that the Linux Foundation 's OPNFV Project should investigate" Security seems to be the prevailing priority surfacing from most surveys. Seems like a smart area to develop skills in to be marketable these days.
