That is great that they are looking towards using multiple revenue streams. Companies will not remain successful and competitive by providing just one service. Innovation is the key to long-term success.
Telkom is planning ahead by using partnership and revenue generators.
However, I wonder if Telkom users are aware that their data is being shared with other companies.

@Adi yes, it you have an opprotunity to generate multiple revenue streams rather than relying on only one, wouldn't it make sense to pursue it? I should think so.

@Ariella - Very true. I think cable channels have often referred to their "dual revenue stream", where they generate revenue from advertising as well as carriage fees from pay TV providers that carry their chanenls. Its certainly time that operators started looking for dual revenue streams of their own. With increasing pressures to grow capacity and consumer willingness to spend also constrained, its important to look to other options, and advertising is an opportunity.
