Re: OTT rising
@faryl I went from a Roku on a standard TV to a Roku TV and it has been a spectacular upgrade.  It is nearly impossible to buy a TV now that isn't a smart TV.  I didn't know that about Amazon, that is an interesting development.

@dcawrey I totally get your point, but I think that they will be stretched across platforms so thin that they are ready to snap before any company is ready to syndicate their original programming.

Re: OTT rising
I agree - I've mentioned before that I tend to use the services I can access from my Apple TV (even though I could switch over to my roku for others). So far Apple & Amazon don't seem to want to play nice with each other though - Apple doesn't have a Prime app on the Apple TVs (though there are iOS apps for it) and I read that Amazon.com has stopped selling Apple TVs. (Eventually, I think everything will just be incorporated into televisions' built-in capabilities or screen-casting options will be more readily accessible)

Re: OTT rising
Aggregation is going to be pretty important. We're seeing too many good shows being broadcast on too many different outlets. That's got to change, and tech companies like Apple will surely do it, I'm convinced people will pay for a service that ties more shows into one centralized medium.

OTT rising
Even though OTT is not the faster when it comes to others but they are growing so let's see them rise in the numbers of subcribers etc.
