Re: A la carte video is what consumers have been asking for...
You can buy complete seasons and you're rght about the discount amount - it's not a lot. I have only ever bought SD versions of video content. I don't have a fast enough ISP to warrent the extra file size of HD.

I usually just use Netflix or on demand from Comcast to catch episodes or movies...However, the selection isn't as big as I would like and I still have to pay per movie on Comcast.

That's very interesting. Cable companies in my area include on-demand viewing at no additional charge. I don't actually have cable, so I don't know the all details. I'm sure they offer pay-per-view movies too.

That's awesome! I have cable, but I also have OnDemand and I don't have to show for tv shows, but movies there's only a $5 charge.

Awh yeah it sucks you don't have it, but it really is useful. Especially if I miss one of my shows. I'm sure you'll have it soon though! (Or at least something like it)

Pay-TV goes on a diet
I found this very interesting to know.  I did notice that the service is not available everywhere.  So for that, it really rots for the people that can not use this.  I find it very convenient and helpful in the cases when I miss my shows due to work or going out.  I am able to pull up the show episode and watch it.  There are some cable companies that provide the free on demand channels without charging a cent.  I personally have Spectrum (was Brighthouse) and we are able to get like 6 FREE on demand channels.  Well, they are included in my package.
