@dcawrey - Are you supplementing that with an OTT service or two? If so, how does your monthly spend on TV entertainment now differ from your previous pay-TV spend - up or down?

Re: Slim TV and Millenials
The targeting is working. I won't pay for cable, but I do enjoy having Sling TV. It's nice to get a small package of channels like ESPN, CNN and TBS. It's really all I need – this future of 500 channels is pretty much worthless to someone like me.

Re: It's not about the money?
I am surprised by that because that is why I originally cut the cord.  Now I plan on doing it for a little cost savings, but mostly because I don't use my cable that much.

It's not about the money?
The idea that slim TV packages would help bring in households with lower discretionary incomes didn't really find many takers in this poll. That's quite interesting, and actually echoes what I've heard from the pay-TV operators themselves. They don't think it's fundamentally a spend issue, but rather the idea that people forced to get a bunch of uninteresting channels along with the ones they really want, and that they want TV on various devices.

Slim TV and Millenials
When I think of Slim TV I think of Flat Screen LG TVs the more advanced digital TVs and I think that it is a great idea to target the millennials to use from different companies that offers a variety of services to us.  Some of them millennials cut the cords because of the pay tv service and I don't blame them for some of the services they provide like the high pricing  etc.  This may be god for companies if they want to improve to get subcribers etc. from millennials.
