Re: ROKUs 4K Evolution
@faryl That sounds like a good deal for you. Maybe you'll get to try 4K video on your service someday.

Re: streaming??
I'm too flaky about charging my phone battery to feel comfortable having to rely on using the same jack/port as I do for charging :-/ Plus I still use my old school earbuds!

Re: ROKUs 4K Evolution
It's probably a more common request these days than when I first got my roku years ago. We have free internet through the property management here, but you have to accept the terms each time you access it - the tech guy just added my roku's MAC address to some list so that it bypasses that screen now.

Re: ROKUs 4K Evolution
Yes! My wifi can get so aggravating after a while of me trying to connect it. Usually it's just because the router sucks and not my phone..

Re: ROKUs 4K Evolution
@faryl I can see how that could cause issues. I assumed there might be guest access points for traveling video players like Roku.

Re: streaming??
I bought one of those cassette converters earlier this year. :) our car's too low tech for Bluetooth! Sadly, it's too low tech for the cassette converter too, so I'm stuck with terrestrial radio (*gasp*!)

Re: ROKUs 4K Evolution
The one issue with using it for travel is that you can't accept wifi agreements when connecting to the internet on it, so you can't always use hotel wifi. :-/
