@afwriter, agreed.  This becomes a powerful "enabler".  I really like the architecture and components AT&T has built into their AT&T Collaborate. 

It makes sense to engage developers at different layer levels, rather than requiring everyone to build their own foundation - as you point out.

SDN Strategy
SDN is for the software developing side and it need to be cost efficent for the customers and they are wanting to expand it and overall this is great in a way.

"Tomorrow, you already have the bulk of that development done because you've standardized on a platform. That's going to be one of the keys. As folks standardize on a platform, the speed to market is already markedly better than it was under a hard-coded DevOps model."

This gives me Goosebumps thinking about what can be done in the future as far as advancements and price control.  It is a lot easier to build a skyscraper when the foundation is already there.
