Re: VR and OTT
@elizabethv  could not agree more... I know some people get line of credit to get new PS4 with 3D helmets and controls... but I would not touch XBOX ONE or PS4 for the good next few years until I see it under $99 or less Can... but it just me... I prefer to wait to get what I want... on the other hand I still use my non smart Nokia phone... :) but it just me - living with what I could afford :)

ps: for new year - I did get Hyperkin NES RetroN 1 Gaming Console for $20 as I did not have to apply for line of credit :) lol

Re: VR and OTT
@mpouraryan interesting observation point... as in my gaming word - Nintendo have many new games for new 3ds build on AR... plus Sony with new PS4 have few new AR/3D games comming in 2017... on the other hand Microsoft slowly droping 3D/ kinect from it gaming library and new hardware XBOX One S do not have kinect option build in you need adapter...

Re: VR and OTT
As we look to 2017, I would humbly suggest that we've moved "leaps and bounds".  The road will have its' share of "minefields" for sure--but it will be fun to be witness to it all no doubt.

On a side yet very crucial note, Hope you all enjoy this extended New Years' W-End (and if you can, catch the rose parade in Pasadena...yours truly worked on the Sikh Float).

Onward to 2017...looking forward to building on what we achieved throughout 2016...

Re: VR and OTT
Good point. And yes they still have a long way to go and being able to experiment with what works and what doesn't will only help!

Re: VR and OTT
@dcawrey - I don't know. I can see a few people spending absurd amounts of time in VR. Especially if it's introduced and brought into gaming. While there are a lot of technological hurdles to get over, if the technology becomes more commonplace and accessible, it doesn't seem that absurd. If VR technology can be put on and used on smartphones, then combined with video games, like Halo, I could see the use being extreme by many.

Re: VR and OTT
Yesterday's hype is tomorrow's reality.  The Tech Players have to continue to keep things interesting.   Isn't that the case @Bayte?
