Re: SD-WAN game
I agree. I think bringing Nokia in was an interesting decision and I want to see how this one plays out..

Thinking like a sales person ...
The beauty of BT's approach is that by offering more ways that remote sites can work with their SD-WAN, the less you have to get a hard signoff (i.e. "Yes, we will implement it and we plan to do so by {specific steps}") from all the affected managers, which means fewer deals-in-corporate-principle that unravel in local practice. If I were a BT rep, I'd be pretty happy about that.

Re: SD-WAN game
Nice article. SD-WAN is really useful for organizations that have networking all over the map. This is certainly something that is a continuing trend as companies become more distributed. SD-WAN enables the ability to change up services on the fly, which any IT department will tell you is a welcomed service.

Re: SD-WAN game
@clrmoney, it appears that BT is putting together a highly competitive package for its customers.  The ability to provide the options and agility they are building should enable them to offer superior packages.  I believe that SD-WAN will provide a superior foundation for them and enhance their design and service offerings.

I am with you - I hope they keep going and advance the new offerings.

SD-WAN game
This is great for BT for their SD-WAN adding Nokia to the mix is a company that uses to carry those type of phones I think and of offers something for the customers so I say just keep going.
