Good point - Focus is the key. I believe some folks have that ability to multitask efficiently. As long as one is able to not loose intended focus, i think that should work ok.

Re: TV Time
The need to focus, though, is also critical--no question.   We need to be able to not be overwhelmed by it all.   It is not easy in this 24x7 "interconnected" World.

Onward to the New Quarter..Happy 4th of July to all in the US as I hope all enjoy this!!

That sounds like a good option. Again there is no one good way to wean off this. We got to go with whatever works better. I believe it is more of a mindset thing - if we can train ourselves and apply certain limits, one should be on right track for positive change. Just my two cents...

Re: TV Time

Good that we are on same page. But what is interesting is - we all realize that we are doing multiple things at the same time, but how many of us are attempting to change the habit. And again it is a unique situation per individual whether that really needs to be changed. I would say as long as it is working out productively i guess we are ok to move on. It has to be based on one's individual situation.

Also, being vigilent is the basic key. And then it will be an individual choice of action.

Re: TV Time
I've realized that if I actually put my phone away in my room and just let it charge as I go and do some tasks around the house I get more and more used to not having my phone.

Re: TV Time
Glad to see you concur with this--what is gratifying, though, is to note how at least there is a realization by all.    As someone who's been hacked, been attacked with malware and almost got swindled, I am especially cognizant (maybe too much I suppose)...vigilance is key....

The problem is that we can only do so much--there is more to be done--and there lies the challenge.

@mp:

Well, we all know that 'Security' is totally different animal. We all share common concerns over that.

I don't think there is just one right or simple answer to your question. We all try to be safe and secure by following our own measures and being aware of things around you. I believe that's all we could do.
