Re: TV Time
Sometimes, though, things are beyond our control--especially as I have seen reports right now about a Disney Movie being stolen. How do we stay safe in an unsafe world?
Re: TV Time
@mp:
Well said. Every thing has to be based on best judgement that works at an individual level. Bottom line is it has to make sense.

Re: TV Time
Yeah I'm 23 so the phone is definitely still my biggest problem today! But I'm working on it!

Re: TV Time
Yeah I understand. I can definitely multitask too that's not an issue, but when there's someone else in the room with me and I'm on my phone or laptop or both and I'm not doing anything super important, I should be able to put them down and communicate with them.

Re: TV Time
It is true that such perfection is welcome--But, at what cost? There is some literature now that disputes the essence of multi-tasking. What is clear is that we have to use our best judgement--and everything else does not matter in the end.
Re: TV Time
@mp:
The bright side of it is....we are reaching prefection to the core in our multitasking skills.
Re: TV Time
@dlr:
This sounds more like my tennage son' s behaviour. I do not have this pattern with my phone.
Re: TV Time
@dlr:
Not sure if i consider that as distraction. I belive our brains are now trained to focus on right things as needed as opposed to being distracted. That's how it works for me. But let me say this for me it's only TV running on the side while i am doing other things in my laptop(s). Hence obviously TV holds lower priority unless something important is going on.
