Re: The Race To Virtualzation
I agree. I don't think that jump is super crazy especially since it looks like its a possibilty for 2020!

Re: The Race To Virtualzation
If the jump includes costs associated with deployment and the different vendors, manufacturers, etc., it seems to make more sense, I think.

The Race To Virtualzation
For some reason, I don't find that huge rate of growth to more than $11 billion in 2020 from $2 billion unrealistic considering the rate service providers are deploying SDN and NFV. I haven't looked at any other surveys, so I don't know if that figure looks high, but my gut tells me it could be within the realm of possibility.

@Ariella, @fayl:

This caught my attention as well. The rate of jump is more than 5 times and that is huge. We will have to watch and see how that really ends up.

The Race to Virtualization
I believe with virtualization already being here with SDN and alot more it will futuristic to see what's next. This is alot of focus on what's next with the future with virtually services. My opinion is I can't wait to see what's next in the near future and from company's like this.

Re: Virtualization rising and continuing
<The investment in NFV will be led by the virtualization of mobile network functions, which will grow from $11.8 billion in 2020, up from the current base of $2 billion.>

That's quite a jump. I'm not sure I'm certain we'll see it go up that much that quickly.

Virtualization rising and continuing
Virtualization is already here and with SDN etc. More technologies that make virtual reality more out there and a convenience for everyone.
