Re: Are you in the content business or aren't you?
@Bayte:  No doubt blaming is easy--those of us at the forefront of Transformation need to get away from the "Blame" game and think about solutions.   That is at the heart of the what we're faced with as we begin a new year here.

@mpouraryan  thank you - human nature is always find someone or something to put blame on :) - how I see it and what I learn about human nature in school... but yes, you could be right as changing dynamics could be palying a big part or even main reason for the way everything happens...

Thanks for the thoughts--In my view, though, it had nothing to do with Brexit--but with some of the inherent changing dynamics and how the Murdochs were able to recover after the challenging few years they've had.

Re: Culture Reason
I can't help but ask:  Why is that not the case?   Is it a matter of regulation?    Is it because of the power of Canadian State Broadcasting?    Welcome your thoughts on it as we all a fabulous Monday!!

Re: Are you in the content business or aren't you?
What you note as "not sitting still" drove 21st Century Fox to eat up the balance of Sky in the UK--people, though, are voting with their feet as cord cutting is the norm--and all the content providers are somewhat adapting--when you're getting original content on "Crackle"...then you realize how the content creators have a battle on their hands to keep customer interest.
