Comcast, as I understand, is doing something similar as well--Will consumers benefit?  With FreedomPop, it was interesting--although their customer service left a lot to be desired....

Absolutely, that feel and touch still matters for certain merchandise like clothes. You get to assess the quality only with feel and touch. There are exceptions with some name brands that things could go wrong in very rare cases.
