Cloud Enabled-IoT: A World of Opportunity
This article is very interesting i agre with it because the cloud is a very bright source that going on right now. It does bring alot of opportunity to the technology thats happening. I think the cloud can be very updated in the future because i can see some problem with it right now but it can be fixed and more security can be enabled.

Re: IoT and AI and Big Data
Adi,

As a big-data guy with an interest in machine learning, I was surprised that Hoffman didn't take the next step: and then a data aggregator will buy 2 million "false alarm due to cat" cases from the cloud, run them through machine learning, and create a "knows a cat from a burglar" module that every home security firm will buy.  ("From the people who brought you 'Knows difference between dog and baby approaching stairs' and 'Knows difference between grease fire and Mom's home cooking, if there is any!'")

Re: IoT and AI and Big Data
@Adi I would agree with you, but I still think security is a hot topic with this issue too. I think that is a hurdle that will have to be overcome before we see it really blow up. Once we get over that hump we are going to see a literal change in the way we live our lives.

IoT and AI and Big Data
The combination of IoT - with billions of devices providing information, big data - collecting, curating and analyzing that data and artificial intelligence/machine learning - getting machines smarter automatically, is a really exciting vision. I suspect it will take a few tries across a couple of hype-and-bust cycles before we get anywhere close to that, but it's still exciting to think about.

Re: Cloud Internet of things
There are going to be billions of these connected sensors. I think there's a huge opportunity here for service operators, and the cloud helps them enable that. Very interesting take from an insider into the business.

Cloud Internet of things
I liked how they talked about mobile network operators by 2020 and them expecting to reach 1.1 trillion because Internet of things have a lot to offer with their cloud based technology.
