They are kind of in a wierd growing period right now where they are testing so many different ideas. They will probably take a small step up when everything stabilizes and they can focus more on video.

Revenues
At the end of the day it will boil down to which platform gets the most eyes on it so people can use it to make money. In that case I think that Facebook will win out because you already have a page full of captive audience members called "friends".

The thing that surprised me was how Snap is lagging behind as it is--especially as it is gearing up to go public at a 25 Bil Valuation :)

Reconsideration:
While my vote went to YouTube, I'm starting to think that there is a definite wisdom to the 5.1% who went with "Too early to say."  Who knows what the social-video landscape will look like in, say, 10 years?

But then again, YouTube has been a video mainstay nearly since its inception, and that is unlikely to change for the foreseeable future -- especially as it is a Google/Alphabet company.

Re: Facebook and Youtube Streaming
@clr$: I think that if you're a marketing-services firm -- or, for that matter, an in-house marketer constantly fielding pitches from marketing-services vendors -- Facebook Live seems like The Next Big Thing.  It's new, it's built on a large platform, some people are pretty interested in it, and it's easy to hype.

But YouTube is tried and true.

Facebook and Youtube Streaming
I'm surprised that Facebook wasn't in the lead but Facebook is on the rise and people are flocking more to Facebook than ever but that's okay because Youtube still has a lot to offer for it customers and they are getting more revenue as time goes on.
