RE: AT&T: IoT Cyber Attacks Increase 400% in 2016
@Joe. S, @Steve. S:

I wouldn't deny your thoughts about potential increase of cyber attacks. But having that hope for atleast sight decrease wouldn't hurt and that is very necessary to keep the cyber fight moving further to address the attacks. we must keep that positive hope alive and moving.

Re: Costs
@freehe  I just ordered Optimum's Triple Play and I tried to get the guy to offer me a one-year premium channel. His reply was that I get Showtime for only three months. The Triple Play is advertised as $89.99 for two years, but they hide certain fees, like the $10 apiece for each box and various taxes. Right after I ordered it, I saw a commercial about Spectrum (previously Time Warner Cable). Their lowest price tier was for $29.99 for Triple Play, also for two years. Optimum sweetened its deal with a $200 American Express card (that you have to wait 90 days for). I should have asked how much the service will increase after two years.

Re: Costs
@srufolo1, Yes you have to read the fine print or terms and conditions because the company will not inform you of the hidden fees. Most of the companies nowaways have hidden fees, tricks and gimmicks to more even more money.

Re: Costs
@freehee  I don't know how good the other company's services are and I didn't even check the number of channels and how fast their Wi-Fi is. I have no time for all of that. I guess in the long run I trust the Optimum brand. Also, who wants a landline phone anyway? The only reason I want a line is for my fax machine.
