private parts
It's important to draw a distinction between digital security and digital privacy. Digital security is essential to minimize criminal activity. Digital privacy doesn't exist.

Being Spied on and need security
They already know how to hack into almost anything so what can the CIA do. We just all need to be careful of what we say and do because we are being watched.

CIA Hacks
I've always wondered what individuals the CIA is targeting. Is there a profile of certain people they would typically spy on? The movie CitizenFour with Edward Snowden enlightened (and scared) me about what the government gets away with. I can tell you that it would not be worth the while for anyone to be spying on me, although I may have to grow a little suspicious now of my new Samsung refrigerator after reading this article. It may have a "fake-off" mode and a microphone and camera in it.

Re: CIA Hacks
If Snowden didn't come forward, we might never know what the government was capable of doing. Perhaps Trump is right that he was wiretapped -- but just that he was part of everyone being "watched" at all times....

Re: CIA Hacks
@mhhf1ve Snowden may have been a whistleblower, but I do not see him as a traitor to the U.S. government. He was right, I felt. Also, he should be allowed to come back to the U.S. because his skills could be put to good use here. Why should he remain in Russia? Also, it's likely Trump was wiretapped because apparently that's what the government does, but it was unreasonable for him to blame Obama.

This is how alternative facts are born. Take something that's even remotely plausible and spin it into reality.

@dmendyk I said likely. Maybe I should have said it's "possible" Trump was wire tapped. Guess he doesn't need to be with all the tweeting he does.

Re: CIA Hacks
Your wish for Snowden to come back to the US may be granted. The Russians have only given him temporary asylum which they could revoke at any time. If there's a deal to be made, they'd throw him under a bus in an instant. It's ironic that he is such a patriot that he faces treason charges...
