Amazon
Amazon is right in focusing on QoE for users as that can't be ignored. As an online retail company, forming partnerships with pay-TV companies is probably not a top priority. The company has a lot going for it without it being in the OTT business.

Re: Amazon is the Best
@Adi that does make sense, considering that Netflix was and is all about video content, in contrast to Amazon that has a lot more going on.

Re: Amazon is the Best
batye - I think Amazon is growing a little under the radar. Most of the attention is being grabbed by Netflix, while Amazon slowly goes about its business. I would say that Netflix is probably ahead of Amazon in terms of both UI/UX and video quality -- not to mention subscribers -- but I wonder if Amazon is playing the long game. The company has deep pockets and higher ARPU (if you add in the e-commerce bump from Prime) so it knows it can wait out much of the competition.

Amazon is the Best
Amazon is my favorite website to buy things from so them wanting to get involved with Pay TV is great and I wish them all the happiness.
