Re: Snap growth
I can't help but wonder who truly will be left standing though--anyone wishes to make a wager?

Re: Snap growth
It will be fascinating to see how Instagram and Snap will "fight it out"--earlier they at the same time released similar features earlier this week.   Wonder who will be left standing!!

Re: Snap growth
@mp:

Absolutely, Snap has real basic challenges.

1. The App itslef - I hear and see many stories about how difficult is the app to use. They certainly need to take this feedback and work on it to make it more userfriendly.

2. Increase user base - This is well connected with #1. Once the app becomes easy to use #2 will automatically occur.

(I also was reading somewhere that instagram copied the basics from Snap and it is using doing much better just for that one reason of making the app easy to use)

3. I also read that they have to make sure to set right expectation with Wall Street and try to outperform. I believe they just did the opposite after they went publc and that is not the right way.

Re: Snap growth
Although it was unfortunate, Snap has bigger challenges especially as Facebook is fast and furious on its' heels--and that's going to be fascinating to be witness to and deliberate :)

Re: Snap growth
To your point, some of the FB enhancements this week on Messenger & whatsapp is going to give them a run for their money no doubt.    But one has to give the Snap Dynamic Duo a lot of credit:  They were gutsy to turn down such an offer!!!
