@srufolo1 It is possible that the cost of ATSC 3.0 will be past on to the consumer but broadcaster walk a tightrope now where price and content are hard to balance and if one tips too far in the wrong direction the cord is cut.

Broadcasters Excited
Maybe broadcast executives are excited about ATSC 3.0 because of the potential for more advertising dollars, but what does it really mean to the typical television viewer? Most likely, the viewer will end up bearing the cost of employing ATSC 3.0. It could be exciting, though, with the anticipation of 3D TV.

@clrmoney, it does uneash innovation for generating new advertising revenues. It will be interesting, however, how they use this unlimited power and whether or not the innovations and applications make broadcasting actually better.
I guess time will tell.

ATSC 3.0
They say that ATSC 3.0 can offer new innovative independent of broadband connetions. I thinnk that they should have more areas to choose from to make many things work.
