It’s definitely a slow race, but we have made progress.

Exactly. It's important for consumers to understand this. There isn't going to be a quick fix to security.

Yes I guess we'll see how it goes! I know there are great things that can come from the Cloud. The security still has ways to go, but hopefully we'll get there.

Re: Hybrid Cloud and Enterprise IT
Exactly! While I think that the Cloud does have many positives, their security really needs to improve.

Re: Hybrid Cloud and Enterprise IT
@dlr5288, I don't trust public clouds either. I don't trust anything public. Companies have proven that they lack strong security measures so using the public cloud will just increase exposure to security risks.

Re: Hybrid Cloud and Enterprise IT
@dcawrey, Good point. I never that the cloud would solve all problems. I always believe that no one solution will solve all problems. I think the best solution requires a combination of products to solve a problem permanently such as the hybrid cloud. However, it seems that most companies are stuck on using one product to solve all their problems.

Re: Hybrid Cloud and Enterprise IT
@batye, @clrmoney. I agree too. Currently technology has not helped the airline industry. Customers still get bad service, booked on overbooked flights, miss connections, late notifications of flight statuses and cancellations and more. Technologies that failed Google Glass, Blue Ray DVDs, etc.

This will require a sound implementation plan, organizational change management, executive support, the right skills set, an appropriate budget, and a mitigation plan.
