Re: service providers
I went with service providers as well, and for the same reason. I think there's an aspect of dependability that you find with service providers. Plus, when people tend not to know where to look for something, they gravitate to the familiar.

SD-WAN
My initial gut feeling was to go with service providers, but I changed it to cloud-based subscriptions from vendors because I believe that will be the trend going forward.

service providers
I'm going with service providers. They have existing relationships with business customers and some, such as AT&T, can provide various flavors of SD-WAN.

Re: Cloud as near utility
@Joe I did, too. I was leaning a bit toward hybrid, in truth. However, it seems to me that first people think about cloud in general and then consider how to make a hybrid solution work for their businesses.

Re: Cloud as near utility
I voted for Hybrid as I want to have some level of control--it is in line with my continued view that we should always have some semblance of control not withstanding our incxreased tendency to automate and depend on others,

Cloud as near utility
On the one hand, cloud arguably skews this dramatically this dramatically. Cloud has been approaching near-utility status for years.

But, then, if I play devil's advocate with myself as I type this, I suppose that it has been tricky for cloud providers to avoid race-to-the-bottom pricing as cloud has become fairly ubiquitous..

Still, I voted the cloud option.
