I see they appreciate alliteration. We do, too, obviously at a board named Telco Transformation. I wonder if any city has wanted to have a turn in all those years it has remained at Amsterdam.

So much to do so little time
These conventions always seem like a lot of fun, but there is so much to learn and so little time to do it, it seems stressful. Anyone ever been to IBC to relay any first-hand

accounts of what it's like?

Trust, Truth and Transformation.... I'm wondering how many times Trump was added into these topics. He's on every form of media, challenging the status quo.....

@mhhf1ve I'd hazard a guess that Trump is in the camp that believes there's no such thing as bad publicity.

In a way it's true that there's no bad publicity if no one remembers the context of anything... which is the direction the news I headed with "debates" that consist of every issue getting equal weight from two opposing sides.

Re: IBC
Certainly transformative is the right word. OTT is giving consumers what they want. It's hard to say this is disrupting companies that have the capability to compete in these environments.

Re: IBC
OTT may not exactly be giving consumers what they want -- if they fragment the content market into dozens of silos. Consumers have wanted a la carte channels for years, but we may soon regret it if the a la carte menu becomes an infinite scroll of choices that each cost more in aggregate than bundles would have.

afwriter - been a few more times than I'd like to remember....and yes, it's intense. There's a lot going on, and you want to get as much as you can out of it.

mhhf1ve  - Oh, I'm pretty sure someone will mention him  at some point. But I think there's more concern about outright fake news sites, that publish whatever they want, and the proliferation of "news" on social media, where just about anyone with an internet connection can say whatever they want -- and at least some people will believe it.
