Re: What I Like About You
It is when we stop embracing change is when we get old--the older we get, the older we must embrace transformation & Change--easier said than done--but we've got to! !:)

Re: What I Like About You
Isn't it surprising that we still need to have access to paper despite striving to go "paperless? How much mor digital can we be?

@elizabethv you were practiciing a form of recycling or perhaps upcycling. I also remember fax paper that persisted for quite a while even to circa 1990.

Ariella, I loved those printers. I would sit in my Mom's classroom for hours making bendy worms out of the sides of the paper. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure how much she enjoyed that - but I sure had fun.

@srulofo1 that is definitely possible. We'll have to remember to keep an eye out for that.

Re: What I Like About You
We must appreciate the past to embrace the future--I reflected upon this very fact as I caught another good one (in my view at least) of an old Nicole Kidman/George Clooney moive, "the peacmaker" (that the challenge done there is so appropriate now)--I got a kick out of seeing Digital Equipment Corporation laptops being featured..and when Nicole Kidman's Laptop went off saying , "...you've got mail!!" :) :) :)

Onward.....

Re: What I Like About You
@mpouraryan - Such a good movie! But it's always so crazy to watch the older movies/tv shows and see the older technology. Lately I've been watching Scarecrow and Mrs. King, from the 80s. The technology is laughable at times. Especially since their entire office is filled with the old massive computer screens and printers with the perferated sides. Media allows us to remember the good ole days. Lol

Re: What I Like About You
@srufolo1 - That could be a possibility. I suppose it depends on the reasons for holding the contest to begin with. A genuine desire to work with a new upstart company and gather new ideas and opinions, or creating a way to absorb a smaller company they know holds a lot of potential.
