Re: AT&T Embraces AI
Great points and I totally agree with both of you on this! I think it’s all coming together and as long as we continue to work as a team in order to get things done..I only see good things to come.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
In total agreement with your thoughts. There is certainly a need for total package - strategy and vision from leaders, realistic achievable plan with clearly defined short term goals and the great implementation team. And I am very positive that we are getting there.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@ms.akkineni, great insight!  Absolutely, the ability now to put together the capabilities to achieve results, AND the decision to make the necessary commitments and changes to enable those goals to be met, is the whole package.  Deliverables, rather than wishes are winning today; when they are strategic it is value-added, when they are only tactical it can be just getting the same results faster with no greater value.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
Can't agree more. Plans have become kind of just an artifact lately, unless you provide a supporting document that speaks about each milestone deliverable and what is the target result as an outcome. Everything has become outcome based. Sometimes this is creating significant challenges to project management community, as there are lots of activities that may not necessarily derive into a clear output. An example would be a four hour internal brainstorming session in preparation of a client meeting.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@ms.akkineni, that is truly a new characteristic of true leaders - the ability to execute and create results, not just write plans for what you hope to accomplish.

@DHagar:

Very true. They have all key ingradients in place. What remains to be seen is how they follow the receipe and arraive at the end product.

Yes very true! I’m looking forward to seeing how Verizon and other great competitors react and what they’ll think to do in order to stay ahead.
