Re: Transformation Center Stage at MWC
@batye, well said!  It is not just a blind gamble, it is understanding the risk factors and moving forward with the most favorable propositions that in and of themselves reduce your risk and make it a calculation worthwhile.

That is why we need to be informed and keep learning!

@DHagar yes I could not agree more... this days a proper calculated risk is a must... but the way I see it it must be calculated properly... - right way... as it easy to jump... put price will be paid...

Re: Transformation Center Stage at MWC
@batye, well at least it will provide a certain pathway and roadmap.  If we can't get it right then that will be our fault.

In reality, due to the previous investments we have made in technology we always have to be factoring in the investments of our existing infrastructure.  This makes us a little cautious about jumping ship to new transformations.

Re: Transformation Center Stage at MWC
@batye, interesting assessment!  So you are living in the clouds?  Reality has not set in?

Everyone reacts differently to change and especially finding one's way in transformation.  In the US we appear to be positioning ourselves to muscle our way through transformation and claim everything according to what we already control!

@DHagar yes I see your point and could not agree more... but in Canada we live in too many of liberal ideas...

Re: Transformation Center Stage at MWC
@batye, true - not only wiill we be left behind, but without the ability and/or tools to compete - that makes it that much worse!  So you can fit the battles with a sword and shield or with high-tech weapons - your choice!  (A little analogy!)

Re: Transformation Center Stage at MWC
@srufolo1, I heard it from you first!  Sounds very possible!  They are definitely advancing the use and in teaming with Huawei's platform and transportation plans, appear to have a running start.  This will be interesting to watch!

I don't see the US as being the leaders, we may have to play catchup!
