@afwriter, plus I believe shared financial interests may actually bring all parties together; instead of a zero sum game.  When you are developing new growth it is easier to split new revenues than divide up what already exists.

Money makes the world go round but this sounds like there is some finger pointing on both ends. If the means are there hopefully both parties can work together to expediteq the process.

@clrmoney, and I agree with Heeran's point that the driver may end up being the financial focus - both for cost and identifiable returns on investment.

I also think that buyers (both B2B and B2C) are increasingly getting used to the service model (based on cloud platforms), as opposed to the purchasing and applications of technology.

I would say whatever works for them to get things going so that there will be more to offer in the near future and more income coming in from businesses using NFV.
