I agree that they have to make it work. It’s not easy to learn about and understand these machines. However, in the long run I think it’ll be beneficial to understand how exactly they work and run.

It sounds like we'll have to wait untill 5G. I think it has to do with the amount of extra bandwidth 5G has over 4G? Seems like we would have it sooner if 4G could handle it.

I feel like we have been hearing a lot in the way of network slicing lately and it sounds like it is going to open up nearly endless possibilities. Has anyone given any predictions as to when network slicing like this will become commonplace? I also wonder if there are any negative to network slicing?

Everyone loves automatic doors
Automation is one of those things that has repeatedly proven its worth when properly employed. I think micromanaging a network to the user's needs will do to network slicing what automation has done to doors. If 5G ever rolls out, this improvement on the network will definitely help to make it stay.

Machines and Machine Learning is something very advanced and tehcnical to me so if they want to use it or dispose of it then okay. I think whatever work for them if it is needed to make it better for businesses etc.
