TT Caption Contest: The Robots Are Coming!![]() Wait, is this yet another cartoon caption contest featuring artificial intelligence and robots? Why yes, yes it is. You may ask: Why are we doing another AI/robot-related caption contest? The first reason is we had 217 comments in the last one. The second is that our professional cartoonist, John Klossner, served up another good AI/robot-related cartoon for your perusal and comments. (Besides, it's hard to come up with a good cartoon for digital transformations and virtualization.) The third reason? This whole artificial intelligence thing looks like it might be big. Don't believe me? In the "Hype Cycle for Emerging Technologies" report, Gartner said AI would be the most disruptive class of technologies over the next ten years. Gartner -- which refers to AI as "AI Everywhere" -- said that AI included technologies such as machine and deep learning, cognitive computing, commercial drones, autonmous vehicles, smart robotics and smart devices, among others.
So submit your funniest captions for the cartoon below in order to win a $150 Amazon gift card for first place, $75 for second and $50 for third. Registered users can enter as many times as they would like prior to the contest ending at midnight ET on October 15. And just to freshen up things a bit, Klossner has agreed to judge this contest, so put your best captions forward. *Terms and conditions apply.
