Re: Great Pictures
@Mike:

Agree with you. Good and bad: Good to see that extensive response to the show and how enthusiaistic people are. Not so good if you think about a great landmark venue being outgrown for such events and eventually may end up lossing the privelege to host such events in future.

The place really looks impressive and its relation and significance with Cable Industry over the years makes it even more interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Great Pictures
As I went through this, it is great to see the deliberations continue as they are.  But the WSJ Journal story is also of note as Cable is undergoing some profound changes--Alan has discussed it throughout his deliberations in our sister publication, light reading.   The WSJ Journal Today talked about potentially having $ 20 Billion @ Stake.    There seems not to be clear answers so far--is there?

Re: Great Pictures
This does sound like the old ET Conference, as you note elsewhere. Plus some business - or increasingly enterprise - services. (See WSJ today, 3/14/16, p. B10 full-page Comcast ad.)

Re: Great Pictures
I think the show may have outgrown The Cable Center, which is too bad beause it's such a great place for a cable event. We'll see.

Great Pictures
Thanks for the great pictures and information.  I can only imagine that this conference grew from a hotel party room to an actual event center over the years.
