Re: Fabulous Findings
ms.akkineni You're exactly right; creating the right online experience for the user is absolutely key. Especially since the digital user is going to start changing. The first digital users were completely new to any kind of online experience. They learned as the technology was released, and even then only if they wanted to. As time progresses, digital users will have used technology their whole lives. Any more, most parenting advice includes teaching your kids about coding. This means their knowledge base will be broader, and more sound. They will probably know and expect more from their technology than most users have to this point.

Does having a more knowledgeable user change what technology will have to bring out to keep up with expectations? Or will technology progess the same no matter what?

Re: The Move to Digital Operations
@ms.akkineni - your points earlier about the "whole digital transformation" are insightful.  There is a key difference in installing versus transforming to effectively optimize the digital capabilities.

Re: The Move to Digital Operations
The move to digital is inevitable. Anyone who hasn't done it yet should get on it as quickly as possible in order not to be seen as behind the times.

Re: The Move to Digital Operations
ms.akkineni, good points.  I also like your comment in your other post about capturing hearts through innovation.  I think you are correct - when we demonstrate what can be accomplished, it will be attractive!

We are just opening doors and it will be exciting to see the results.

Re: The Move to Digital Operations
@DHagar:

Absoultely, getting to know that there is awareness is certainly good motivation for the initiative and companies that are making progress in this direction.

The polls also prove not just the awareness but there is enough insight like what, where and how with respects to the whole digital transformation. Very interesting.

Fabulous Findings
Interesting survey results...

Absolutely no surprises and polls happen to be completely inline with trend.

I would like to highlight the dominant 93% poll for creating right online digital experience for users. This is such a nimble fact that needs immense attention in this initiative. As users are more informed, aware, practical and demanding any new creation must be right and welcoming in their perspective. That's when that innovation can steal their hearts.

Re: The Move to Digital Operations
Excellent survey and fascinating results.  It is good to see that the awareness is there.

I fully agree with the priority of NFV MANO and SDN.  I believe that focus will provide new capabilities to better deploy technology and more effectively engage the users.  As the users begin to fully embrace digital operations and change processes, etc., to improve goods and services, the results will further drive digital advancement.
