Re: How much is too much?
This is great as long as companies remain focused on what customers want and include all generations of customers when developing new products and services. Right now most companies are only focusing on the needs of millennials but what about other customers who may want different products and services.

They also need to include security in their strategic plan as well as keeping down the cost for customers. No one wants to get new features and pay higher prices as well as buy new equipment. New features are great but constantly pushing the cost to customers will quickly fade and customers will search for lower priced services or forego services especially as housing costs and living expenses continue to increase along with inflation and economic changes such as job layoffs and unemployment. These factors have a direct impact on customers wants versus customer needs (food, clothing, shelther) and other necessities.

@faryl I have a sneaky feeling we're in for a lot of unchanged terms for technologies. It took a very long time for folks to shift from using the term cell to mobile.

Similar to how mobile phones will probably be called cellular/cell phones in the US regardless of where the technology heads.

The future of content delivered through a monitor in the family room is an interesting one for sure. I think TV in all its forms will be known as TV for a long time to come.

Re: How much is too much?
We're still calling it TV? Given the explosion of video offerings on the web, it seems to me today it is just "content". I know that the televsion industry is trying valiantly to expand its offerings in the face of disruption. This is going to mean connecting to more OTT services rather than utilizing the traditional set top box.

Good to get a bit of an insight through these pictures though not a lot. Thanks for sharing Mike.

The two phrases that caught my attention are: Open Systems and User Experience in the comments made by president of digital Ops, Huawei. I believe that is very good direction and areas of focus.

How much is too much?
Well, when it comes to coffee, there is no such thing as "too much" as long as the standard is high.... however, I feel you may have overdosed on some pretty dodgy caffeine....
