Re: AT&T
@faryl I shared some videos with my kids a while ago. They did better than the kids on film. I like to think I taught them a little consumer tech history.

Re: AT&T
@faryl I can only assume this means you plan to stream the show. The future of entertainment is weird and great at the same time. I remember the old days when regular people didn't really know what season or espisode they were watching on TV...

Re: AT&T
@faryl That's funny! You'll probably enjoy the web series that records kids reacting to old technology :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfxRfkZdiAQ

Re: AT&T
"My kids don't even know anything about channels"

That reminds me of my friend's kid's reaction to a Berenstein Bears book that showed them playing either a vinyl record or a cassette (memory's a bit fuzzy).  Her kid had no idea what it was, so she explained that it's what people used before ipods.

AT&T is now jumping into the streaming content field. It will interesting to see how they use the merger to capture some of the OTT market share.

Re: AT&T
TMobile's OTT sounds a lot better than Go90 - that Verizon offers - actually, kind of shoves in my face really. It just activitates itself on my phone randomly and I have to shut it off. If I hadn't cut strings with TMobile a few years ago, I'd almost consider going back. But I had far too many issues with them, so I'll just make due with other OTT services. I wonder if OTT is going to start dividing companies by the winners and the losers.
