Apple TV games...?
The Apple TV platform could be a huge gaming platform.. if it didn't restrict the controller requirements so much. I believe Apple shot itself in the foot a bit when it back-tracked and said that any game for AppleTV would have to also work with the provided AppleTV remote control. That's a big mistake. AppleTV apps should not require the AppleTV remote control -- Apple should say that certain games will not work optimally without the proper accessories.

I think Apple TV has the potential to knock Nintendo out of the living room...

Subscription fatigue
I think we're living on the eve of subscription fatigue. There are soooo many services available now with more on the way, I don't know that yet-another-subscription is really needed. I wonder how much more the market will bear.

Re: The future of everything
I agree. I use my apple TV way more frequently than my roku - I find the app interface easier to use than the different "channels".

Apple Apps
Apple Computers has been around for over 30 years so with them taking it to another level with apps I'm not surprised.

The future of everything
Apps are the fututre of everything.  Thos tiny squares are systematically making the internet irrelivent already.  I love my Rokus and they have a ton of apps made solely for small production programming.  It makes sense that apps will replace traditional TV programming.
