Re: Software Bots
@freehe:

Well said, Organizational cultural shift often turns out to be a bigger challenge than it appears to be. Apparently that culture factor is a key factor while handling any organizational change.

Software Bots
This is a long-time favorite of mine. Automating processes is key to becoming a successful company. It saves time, money and resources allowing companies to focus on higher priorities, customer service and innovation of products and services.

This also requires an organizational culture shift by training employees whose job entails several manual tasks to shift to automation. It also requires management to retrain employees and to ensure them that automation actually helps them do their jobs better.

Video Bill
This is great news regarding Video Bill! I give semnars on finances and always present the information in multiple formats because people learn and comprehend information in different ways such as auditory, kinesthetic, verbal, visual, social or logical.

This will be a favorite of millennials and techies. The Video Bill will also be helpful to selected groups such as the elderly, those who have trouble reading or poor eyesight.

Remote Patient Monitoring
This is great that AT&T Foundry has implemented remote patient monitoring. This would have been helpful for me as I had an in/out procedure and had complications afterwards. If the doctor had used remote patient monitoring the complication could have been addressed much sooner.

Patient Monitoring
I had a month long hospital stay a few years ago and I got to see many of the flaws in the hospital industry. It is alarming. Patients have no idea how horrible patient service can be, unfortunately I found out. I filed several complaints only to be told they will take steps to develop a plan to work on the problem versus "we will fix the problem".

Hospitals are more concerned about making money than taking care of patients.

Remote Patient Monitoring
AT&T Foundry has also been on the forefront of AT&T's IoT work. As part of this effort we've recently unveiled two healthcare projects -- a Remote Patient Monitoring solution that helps providers to proactively monitor patients after they have been discharged from the hospital...

Wow...AT&T surely is going in right direction to grab healthcare market. Remote Patient Monitoring project as it is explained here will be really a value add for both providers and patients to be connected and address gaps adequately and proactively. This may eventually result in preventing readmissions for not so significant reasons. Then this will result in saving hospital admission costs for helathcare companies. So this can be considered as a triple winner, if proven to be a winner.
