@elizabethv, probably!  But if they want our dollars, they might want to consider changing to aligning services more in keeping with what we want to buy.

@DHagar, I'm sure you're right. I'm sure they do make these decisions without consulting us as simply an oversight. In fact, maybe our letters are in the mail?

@faryl, agreed - working with multiple vendors and building extended networks and platforms makes sense in today's markets.

Re: Century Link SD WAN
@elizabethv, actually I believe that "alignment of technology, services, and packages", is more in keeping with what is taking place.  Partnerships are less of a permanent joint-venture and more collaborations that work in the marketplace; which makes these "partnerships" make sense in creating ecosystems to advance the technology and customer solutions.  So maybe that can make it more tolerable?

And the fact that they make these decisions without you is an oversight on their part!

Re: Century Link SD WAN
@DHagar - You're certainly right. Partnering with other providers is a wise course of action that will certainly lead to the success of CenturyLink as well as the other providers. Even if I'm not the biggest fans of who they are partnering with. Though I suppose most companies make business decisions without me.

Re: Century Link SD WAN
@clrmoney, that is the key.  This design truly delivers new value, and better scaled to the customer's needs.

Interesting points in recognition of cloud technology as opening up the new configurations and then the dynamic software designs that provide the flexibility.

I also think CenturyLink is smart in the way they have partnered with other providers and are offering new solutions packages.  I think that will be a key to continued success.

I'm not surprised that people are excited and people are interested in SD WAN because it can be value to offer a lot to customers.
