Re: Interesting
@faryl - You're definitely right there. Quality is certainly subjective. My husband and I have a relatively small televsion, and it's at least 10 years old. By comparrison, most of my friends and even family have significantly larger, newer televisions. They insist that the quality of the picture makes their viewing experience so much better..... My husband and I just don't see it. We don't think we lose anything with our television that didn't require an insane investment during our diaper buying years..... Lol.

Re: Verizon platforms
Very good points and I agree!

As a Verizon customer I'm very pleased with it. The prices tend to be a little on the higher side, but the service is amazing. I've never really had a huge complaint.

Re: Verizon platforms
Verizon is a leader and believes in innovation. I don't think they will ever become a dump pipe. They originally started off as a landline company and has grown into a telco/technology company all while maintaining and gaining customers who have different needs and wants.

Verizon offers landline, internet, cable, IoT, business solutions, cell phone, wireless, devices, etc.

Verizon will be around for a long time to come and they will continue to remain a leader.Other companies can take lessons from Verizon about how to grow a business and remain successful while keeping customers happy.

Re: Verizon platforms
I definitely agree! I think when Verizon wasn't the number one competitor they always had something to build or go further. Now since they're super successful they're scared of falling back again.

Re: Verizon's Smart Platform
Having a tool to properly distribute content to places like social media is really important. The new technology needed to avoid the dumb pipe threat is discovery. Can you enable users to find the content they want? There is huge opportunity in accomplishing this.

Re: Verizon platforms
They need to be competitive--but the problem is what I deem the "Commoditization" of Cell service that Verizon may seem to be in a losing battle.    Companies like FreedomPop continue to present a disruptive model as underscored with this:

How does one forestall such disruption?

Re: Interesting
I'm guessing "quality" is somewhat subjective and may have been defined differently for the methods used to gather the info.

Verizon platforms
I think Verizon has done a lot for the general public with cell phone services and cell phones in general and having to stay on your game is challenging so they need to keep striving and never give up and don't give in to the wrong thing.
