Re: IoT dev kit for all
Just to add, these kits should be easily adaptable as well.

Re: IoT dev kit for all
Very true. Bing able to stand out with something new that consumers haven't seen before is crucial.

Re: IoT dev kit for all
Absolutely. Not just stand out, but any new one that gets out must clearly promote something significant that is not there in market by that time. That would be the clear selling point in market.

@dlr5228:

They have to be. Only then that kit will be able to stand out in the crowd.

@batye: Just catching up with my emails and hence getting to these exchanges.

Yes, it's good to know that industry is really gearing up with these dev kits. I am only waiting to see more robust and reusable ones to be out soon.

Smart Move
We also are investing heavily in the connectivity layer -- we made the announcement of deploying and launching LTE Cat M solutions for IoT. This is a network enhancement to support IoT devices for very long battery life -- a ten-year battery life -- much deeper in-building penetration and lower cost.

This seems to be very smart move by AT&T. Any improvement in Network enhancement area certainly will take them to next level. And lowering cost is a no brainer.
